Last weekend, I hosted a group of five ladies for a beautiful weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. As most of you know, my Flagship store in the US is in downtown Newport. Nestled between historic buildings, The Sinesia Karol’s boutique sits at 135 Spring Street. I spend the Summer months at my home in Newport, running back and forth between the store and spending time with my family. So what better way to entertain this group of 5 ladies in a town so close to my heart?
The ladies arrived on Thursday evening at Gurney’s on Goat Island, ready for a busy weekend. The ladies enjoyed a relaxing evening at Gurney’s beautiful property, having cocktails and a light dinner.
Friday was a packed day! The day started with a private morning yoga session on the north lawn of Gurney’s on the water. The picturesque setting on the ocean made for the perfect location to practice yoga.
Together, the girls head over to the Sinesia Karol Boutique. They enjoyed a private shopping experience where they tried on beautiful clothes and sipped crisp Ruinart champagne. Each girl carefully chose their outfits for the weekend.
From the store, the girls drove on the coast of Newport to my private club for lunch. The girls enjoyed lobster rolls, salads, and fresh oysters while sipping chilled Whispering Angel Rosé at the impressive Aquidneck Club. Shannon Pastuszak, Publisher of Boston Common Magazine, joined the group for lunch.
The girls returned to their hotel from lunch to relax and prepare for a night out in Newport. The group met at 41 North for dinner. We drank Veuve Cliquot Rosé champagne and enjoyed fresh seafood and a delicious meal while enjoying the ambiance of dining on the water. Newport’s marina has beautiful yachts and the girls enjoyed walking through the docks to admire their beauty between cocktails and dinner.
From dinner, the girls walked into downtown Newport and enjoyed all that Newport nightlife has to offer.
Saturday, the girls enjoyed the morning at their leisure. Some girls went back to the boutique, while others enjoyed a beach walk or went into town. Finally, mid-afternoon, we gathered around noon for a luncheon in a private sun-filled room set with a gorgeous table of sunflowers and food.
From lunch, the girls went to the famous Newport Polo grounds. The day was hot, but all enjoyed the energy and impressive Newport polo grounds. After enjoying a picnic complete with superb French cheeses and wine, the girls head over to a VIP table alongside the polo match. I was even lucky enough to throw the coin in front of the crowd. I was also so happy to hear the announcer call out the beauty of all of the girl's Sinesia Karol outfits.
It was hard to top the gorgeous dinners and activities planned for the weekend, but I did manage to wow the girls again. I hosted a dinner party at my home. The girls arrived and were greeted with small bites, yummy sangria, and a picture-perfect sunset. After mingling and enjoying the views, we sat at a charming candle-lit table. We enjoyed a four coarse meal prepared by a world-famous Brazillian chef.
It was the perfect weekend, and everyone was gracious for being a part of such a captivating experience. We look forward to the next experience, which we hope to host sometime next year!
XOXO,
Sinesia
